Mon 1 - Thu 4 April 2019 Genoa, Italy
Mon 1 Apr 2019 11:15 - 11:35 at Verdi - ICW Intro Chair(s): Eric Jul

In this introductory talk, I will survey some of the presently popular means to interconnect heterogeneous code components. In-so-doing, I aim to pinpoint some of the good, the bad, and the ugly elements of modern approaches, and kick-start a discussion on how we can progress towards a brighter future. Some of the technologies I will mention are gRPC and Thrift.
